In relation to the employee of the headquarters of Alexei Navalny in Astrakhan, Kirill Andrianov, administrative proceedings have been opened under Art. 5.12 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (distribution of campaign materials with violations). This is reported by the "Caucasian Knot".
Today, the activist received a ruling to initiate an administrative case under Part 1 of Art. 5.12 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, issued on January 22 by the Department for the Execution of Administrative Legislation (OIAZ) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Astrakhan.
The police officer warned the coordinator of the Astrakhan headquarters Alexander Kogut that he would receive such a decision tomorrow.
Kogut, Andrianov, and an unnamed campaign volunteer were detained on January 20 for handing out “Voters' Strike” leaflets in Bratsk Garden in central Astrakhan.
The police motivated the detention by the fact that the activists were carrying out “illegal campaigning”.
The detainees were taken to the police department in the Kirovsky district. Now they are signing explanatory notes. The police seized the leaflets for examination.
