Gather glasses

The Kazan police investigate the case of an attack on the collector of signatures for the nomination of Vladimir Putin as a presidential candidate. This was reported by "IDEL. Reali".

As follows from the publication, the attack was committed on January 14 in the Tandem shopping and entertainment complex - one of the signature collection points. A certain citizen in glasses approached the young man who led the gathering, and hit him in the face, after which he retired.

The incident was actively discussed in social networks. Meanwhile, no media then reported about him.

Putin’s regional headquarters “IDEL. Reali” confirmed the fact of the attack in the Tandem shopping center, but they refused to clarify any details, referring to the request of the collector himself. The headquarters only noticed that the victim had contacted the police as a private person.

The publication does not specify the qualifications of the case. Probably, we are talking about Article 116 of the Criminal Code (beatings), which provides for up to two years of the colony.

On January 19, during the interrogation in the case in the city OP-3 "Zarechensky", Daniyar Salahutdinov, an activist of the Libertarian Party of Russia. Two days earlier, the investigator Gasanov, who refused to inform his name and position, called the opposition for interrogation by phone, but the activist ignored the call. The next day he was brought home.

For interrogation, Salahutdinov came with a lawyer. For more than an hour, the security forces found out what the activist did on the 14th and where he was. At the end of the interrogation from the opposition, they demanded the next day to come to the department again.

On the 20th, Salakhutdinov was convinced of the polygraph test, but he refused.

In what case the activist was interrogated, he was not at first informed. The operative Gasanov in a telephone conversation mentioned the "page on the Internet." Only during the interrogation, one of the operatives allegedly said that the case of an attack on the collector of signatures would be investigated. The victim allegedly pointed to Salakhutdinov as a person who is very similar to the offender. Meanwhile, the activist noticed "IDEL. Reali": "In addition to glasses, there were no more similarities with me."

Another operative told Salakhutdinov that the news of the incident "already reached Putin." In the case, many citizens are interrogated, the security official added. “In one KAI (Kazan Aviation Institute. - Ed.) Every third student is a bespectacled man,” the activist retold his words.

Salakhutdinov is not yet suspected of the case.

The opposition himself submitted to the police records from CCTV cameras in his yard, on which it was recorded, how he was walking with a stroller at a time when he was made. The security forces promised to study the notes. Since then, the activist has not been disturbed.

The collection of signatures for Putin in Tatar began on January 9 and lasted two weeks. It was claimed that during this time 17 thousand signatures were collected in the region with the required 7 and a half thousand. Putin's regional headquarters assured that the place for collecting signatures by the Kazan shopping centers allocated to the headquarters free of charge, since the owners of the companies "support the candidate."
