Two Crimean Tatar activists were detained in Crimea after searches

In Dzhankoy and the Nizhnegorsk region of Crimea, security forces conducted searches in the homes of Crimean Tatar activists. After that, they detained two local residents - Enver Krosh and Ebazer Islyamov, according to the Crimean Solidarity Facebook.

Islyamov was taken to the police department in the Nizhnegorsk region. There, the man became ill, and an ambulance was called for him. After the doctors told Islyamov's wife that they gave him an anesthetic injection due to a severe headache. The ER staff also told the police that Ebaser had tumors in his head.

Later, Islyamov was taken to the Nizhnegorsky District Court. There, the man became ill again, he called an ambulance.

During a search of the house of Enver Krosh, the security forces seized his phone, tablet and laptop. Later it became known that the man was taken to the Dzhankoy District Court. Krosh is accused of promoting Nazi symbols (part 1 of article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

Crimean human rights activist Emil Kurbedinov writes on Facebook that in December 2015, Enver Krosh was tortured with electric current. He was deceived into the police department, where the FSB officers were already there. They offered Krosh cooperation, but were refused. After that, the police put a bag over the activist's head, took him to a prison cell and tortured him for a long time.
