In Moscow, the police detained an underage volunteer of the headquarters of Alexei Navalny for putting up leaflets. The activist himself told OVD-Info about this.
He distributed campaign materials on Vostochnaya Street in the South Administrative District. The police took him to the Danilovsky district police station.
UPD 16.45: The detainee, who is in the department, received a call from another department and was told to come the next day with his parents because of the action on January 28th.
UPD 22.00: The volunteer said that he was released from the department.
“There is a withdrawal protocol issued to my mother. And explanatory that I am a homeless child. Mom wrote that she was informed about the rally and would not let me in. They threatened that this would happen again, and they would send me to a special school,” the activist said.
They also took away his phone and photographed incoming messages.
Before the "Strike", the police actively detain Navalny's supporters, conduct searches at the politician's headquarters and seize campaign materials and equipment. The city authorities refuse to approve the action or offer to transfer them to remote sites.
