Veduchi ski resort opened in Chechnya
In the Itum-Kalinsky district of Chechnya, the Veduchi ski resort opened on January 26. The opening ceremony was attended by the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, the Russian Minister for the North Caucasus Lev Kuznetsov.

By 2021, it is planned to build more than 15.4 km of ski slopes and six ski lifts on the territory of the Veduchi complex. According to the state program "Development of the North Caucasus Federal District", designed for the period up to 2025, funding from the federal budget in 2017-2020 will amount to 6.5 billion rubles.
- Ramzan Kadyrov announced the construction of the Veduchi ski resort in 2010. It is included in the structure of the "Resorts of the North Caucasus" along with the resorts "Elbrus" and "Arkhyz". It is planned that upon completion of construction, the resort will be able to receive up to 4,800 people a day.
