Law enforcement agencies of the Netherlands do not believe that the shooting that occurred in the center of Amsterdam was a terrorist act, Interfax reports with reference to local media. “It is clear that we are not talking about a terrorist attack, but about a criminal incident,” said Leo Dortland, an official representative of the Amsterdam police.

According to him, the police are currently busy with the search for a shooter, whom the witnesses saw the scene of the incident. Dortland emphasized that a large -scale investigation has begun on the fact of what happened.
