A coordinator and volunteer of Navalny’s local headquarters was detained in Korolev

In Korolyov, the coordinator and volunteer of the local campaign headquarters, Alexei Navalny, who were handing out invitations to the "Voter Strike", were detained. This was reported to the OVD-Info hotline by an activist of the headquarters.

The activists were taken to the Kostinsky police department.

On December 25, the CEC refused to register oppositionist Alexei Navalny as a presidential candidate in the 2018 elections due to an outstanding conviction in the Kirovles case. After that, the politician called for a boycott of the presidential elections in 2018 and announced for January 28 an all-Russian protest action - “Voter Strike”.

UPD: The detained coordinator of the headquarters was released from the police without a protocol. As the activist clarified, only he was detained - the volunteer managed to escape.
