In Sweden, IKEA founder Ingvar Kamprad has died at the age of 92, the company said .
It is specified that Kamprad died at his home in Småland.
“We are very sorry about the death of Ingvar. We will always remember his devotion and selflessness in serving people. Never give up and always try to follow good examples,” said Thorbjørn Löf, head of Inter IKEA Group.
Kamprad was born in 1926. He founded IKEA when he was 17 years old. Since 1988, he has not been involved in the activities of the company, remaining there as a senior adviser until 2013. His sons hold senior positions in the company.
