People, relatively speaking, in Kursk didn't know that somewhere in Khabarovsk they don't clean the streets during ice and there is also nothing to buy in shops. And people in Vladivostok thought that they were living poorly, because it was their 1st secretary of the city committee of the party, a thief and a rogue, in Chelyabinsk they believed that in the center, in the Central Committee, they didn’t know that in the city where there is radioactive smog, there is no milk find. In Sverdlovsk, corned beef was stored on balconies for the winter, but often it was not enough until the end of the cold. “Sausage” electric trains traveled from Ryazan, physicists from Gorky came to Moscow to buy meat, and in the nearby terribly secret Arzamas-16 they did not know that they had lost the Cold War long before August 1991: there was no way to find out. But everyone heard something - especially through anecdotes, they learned about the arrests of dissidents from "voices", the "white" TASS went around the nomenclature, where they even reported about the crashes of Soviet passenger planes: Soviet citizens did not need to be upset - the district police officers came to the relatives of the dead with bad news at home and offered to be silent. The letters were read at the Main Post Office, where the Tsargrad TV channel now sits with similar founders, so serious news was not reported to friends and relatives in the letters. In essence, the USSR was a divided country: if it were not for the structures of the CPSU and the KGB from Moscow to the very outskirts, nothing more would connect people. True, there was the program "Time" and "Good night kids": everyone watched them - and what else was there to watch? Everyone knew when the next Soyuz took off into space and that today Khryusha did not share with Leontieva. But with their sores and problems - and also everyone - they remained alone. Exactly this saved the Soviet power for so long: the Soviet people did not have any tool that could unite them. Even the deficit - and that was local. The Vzglyad program began to unite people: it suddenly turned out that a Soviet person is not only a neighbor-snitch (if he is not a close relative, however, sometimes a relative), but also a colleague with whom they subscribed to Novy Mir together and from whom by fax, for example, from Moscow to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the Moscow News was sent. As a result, hundreds of thousands found themselves on the streets. After all, Lenin was right: the media are a collective organizer by the mere fact that they, the national media, transfer small-town problems to the category of general ones.

The first thing that the Putinites did when they came to power was to destroy the information field common to the whole country. We scattered through social networks like rooms in communal apartments. Soviet communal apartments also did not unite people for a common action, although, it would seem, stretch out your hand - touch it, but 29 people - one kitchen and one toilet - this only gave rise to hatred. Anger requires an intermediary, so as not to rashly slap a sufferer like you in the face: and - they molded it. And they are sculpting on various occasions even now, asking themselves later: what did it suddenly come over me?

The harsh detention of Navalny - and we saw it for the first time on air: Navalny, thin, pointed, in a black jacket and with a face - well, yes, a man who knows that he will spend the night in a cell, and before that they will hurt him, - time! waved his arms and shouted “Crooks and thieves”, and the people around him answered: “Five minutes to get ready”, the second - “Crooks and thieves” and they answered again, and then Navalny was heard saying: “Don’t beat me off”, and now they are pushing him into the wall of the building, and then dragging him, it’s hard, it hurts, you can’t see his head, it’s somewhere below and they push him into a paddy wagon ... At that moment, more than 60 thousand people watched the broadcast, and the chat erupted with a collective “Oh!” and — everything else was obscene. And this was seen in Moscow, and in Biysk, and Omsk, where it had been dark for a long time, and in Petrozavodsk and Krasnodar, where the actions had not even begun yet - a large country, many time zones, but "oh" was common. It was almost a physical feeling: it seemed that people in different cities and parts of the country joined hands, grappled - Navalny in a paddy wagon, but we are not giving up our positions. And from the studio, which the Chekists unsuccessfully searched for in Moscow and the Moscow region, the cameras were already showing sun-drenched Samara and boys climbing onto a lantern near Pushkin in Moscow. “I’m saying hello to my mother, she must be somewhere there, at a rally in my native Rostov-on-Don,” Yarmysh, Navalny’s press secretary in ordinary life, said somehow quite childishly when the picture went from her native cities. And Ruslan again said that 2.5 million was stolen from FBK by blocking bank accounts, and from the FBK office again, as in the summer , they took out all the computers, servers and video cameras. There is no doubt that Navalny's team has n + 1 options for where to place the reserve studio next time, which means that it will be possible to reach further - through chat or through the host - to a fellow resistance in Chita, and to another in Omsk, and up to a third in Krasnodar. At the time of this writing, the broadcast of the all-Union strike was watched by more than 1.8 million people, it has been ranked first in Russian YouTube trends for almost a day. This means that someone is no longer so scared. Someone is already less afraid that when they go out to a rally or go on strike, they will then be quietly swept away. Silently it won't work anymore. The hibernation seems to be ending.
