Ukraine conducted the first test of a cruise missile
On January 30, the successful first flight tests of a Ukrainian ground-based cruise missile took place. This was announced by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov. According to him, this is a completely Ukrainian development.
Turchynov said that the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine set the task to "develop cruise missile systems not only for ground, but also for sea and air-based."
“Today's tests have opened a new phase of the missile program, according to which our armed forces must receive powerful, highly effective cruise missiles capable of accurately hitting enemy targets at a long distance. This is an important factor in deterring the aggressor,” said the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
