The father of a Moscow businessman accused of financing terrorism was arrested in Dagestan.

In Dagestan, the Kizilyurt City Court arrested for two months Kazim Nurmagomedov, the father of businessman Shamil Nurmagomedov, who is being tried in Moscow on charges of financing terrorist activities (Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code), the reports , citing Nurmagomedov’s son Imagadzhi. BBC

Earlier it was reported that security forces detained Nurmagomedov on January 31 after a meeting in the Moscow District Military Court, where the trial in the case of his son is ongoing. The man's relatives contacted the police to report the abduction, and later learned that he had been taken to Kizilyurt. At the same time, Nurmagomedov’s son insisted that his father is registered in Moscow and has nothing to do with this city.

Businessman Shamil Nurmagomedov was accused of financing terrorism after in 2013 he transferred 200 thousand rubles for the return trip to his brother Marat, who left for territory under the control of the Islamic State.
