According to Gaivoronsky, during the attack an unknown person shouted insults at him; The voice seemed familiar to the journalist. “At the beginning of January, a man with a similar voice called me with threats, saying that he had been ordered to me,” Gaivoronsky noted.

The Notes correspondent was not seriously injured. He considers the director of the construction company Livadia Estate, Dmitry Tyukaev, to be the organizer of the attack. Gaivoronsky published several materials about his business, in particular, about the illegal development of the resort village of Gaspra.

Tyukaev, in a conversation with Novaya, said that he was “tired” of the journalist, but stopped paying attention to him and “did not organize any attacks.”

At the end of October, Gaivoronsky said that he contacted the Yalta police with a statement about death threats from Tyukaev. According to him, shortly before this, Tyukaev called him and said that under the journalist’s apartment “there is a detachment of people of non-traditional sexual orientation who are ready to throw a gay party at my house.”
