On February 1, a protocol was drawn up against the coordinator of Alexei Navalny's headquarters in Cheboksary, Semyon Kochkin, in connection with the January 28 voters' strike action. The activist told OVD-Info about this.
Kochkin was accused of calling to come to the rally, imputing to him part 8 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated violation of the procedure for holding a public event). Now he is being taken to court.
The activist was detained on January 28, having been taken away from home. A protocol was drawn up against him under Part 8 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and was taken to court, but the judge refused to consider the case due to errors in the document. They made an obligation to appear from Kochkin, and on February 1 they summoned him to the police department, where the protocol was corrected.
