The Moscow Easter Festival announced the program

Today, February 5, the program of the XVII Moscow Easter Festival was announced, whose concerts will be held from April 8 to May 9 at the central concert venues of Moscow and the regions of Russia.

Among the participants of the symphony program soloists, choir and symphony orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater under the direction of Valery Gergiev, soloists, choir and symphony orchestra of the Primorsky scene of the Mariinsky Theater under the direction of Anton Torbeev, Mariinsky Theater, Brass-Ansemble of the Mariinsky Theater, as well as pianists Denis Matsuev, Behzod Abduraimov, Ivan Bessonov, Ilya Rashkovsky, violins Christoph Barati, Eric Zilberger, Lorenz Nashturik-Gershovichi, Pavel Milyukov, Sleep Chin Cho, cellists Narek Akhnazaryan, Alexander Buzlov, vocalists Julia Lezhneva, Aigul Hismatullina, Angelina Akhmedova, Vladislava, Vladislav Kupriyanov, Anna Muradyan, Ekaterina Sannikova, Anastasia Schegoleva.

After the opening concerts of the festival on April 8 at the P.I. Concert Hall. Tchaikovsky and the Great Hall of the Conservatory The Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater and Valery Gergiev will go on a tour that will cover almost thirty cities of Russia.

The choir program will open on April 9 in the hall of church cathedrals of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, where the choir of the Mariinsky Theater, led by Andrei Petrenko, the State Academic Russian Choir named after A.V. Sveshnikova under the leadership of Evgeny Volkov, choir of boys of the Church School named after A.V. Sveshnikova.

The concerts of the choral program will be held in Moscow, Khimki, Reutov, Ramensky, Zaraysk, Yegoryevsk, Istra, Balashikha, Serpukhov, Tula, Tver, Veliky Novgorod, Rostov Velikh, Murom, Vladivostok and for the first time in Ussuriysk. This year, groups from Russia, Abkhazia, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Slovakia, Sweden, Greece, Finland and Bulgaria will take part in the choir program.

В рамках камерной программы фестиваля ведущие солисты Академии молодых оперных певцов Мариинского театра и художественный руководитель Академии Лариса Гергиева представят программу из русских романсов и мировых оперных шедевров, а также серию открытых репетиций и вокальных мастер-классов в Москве, Севастополе, Ялте, Плёсе, Суздале, Владимире, Тихвине, Гатчине, Smolensk, Kingiseppe, Severomorsk, Perm, Novokuznetsk, Ulan-Ude and Ufa.

Concerts of a diots will cover 50 temples. More than 40 bells from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Latvia, Germany, Finland, France and Kazakhstan will come to Moscow and take part in bell concerts.

The festival will complete the concert of the Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater under the direction of Valery Gergiev on Poklonnaya Hill on May 9.
