The Moscow City Court declared illegal the decision of the Simonovsky District Court on the administrative arrest of the lawyer of the Anti-Corruption Fund (FBK) Alexander Pomazuev.

Pomazuev was previously sentenced to 10 days of arrest for disobedience to a police officer. He was detained at the FBK office on January 28, the day when supporters of Alexei Navalny held rallies under the slogan of boycotting the presidential election. Before considering the complaint, the lawyer served 8 days.

The Moscow City Court decided to terminate the proceedings in the case “for lack of evidence of the circumstances on the basis of which the decision was made” on an administrative offense.

On January 28, supporters of Alexei Navalny held rallies in support of the "Voters' Strike" in dozens of Russian cities. According to OVD -Info, the police detained 371 people.
In Moscow, 16 protesters were detained, including Navalny. Almost all of them were soon released, but then the courts began to arrest and fine the activists. On February 5, Navalny was summoned for questioning to the Investigative Committee in connection with the attack on police officers.
