The expert of the Yegor Gaidar Foundation will tell where to look for Russia on the map of the future technology.

The Yegor Gaidar Foundation under Novaya Gazeta’s information partnership continues the new season of the Faculty of Economics, in which leading Russian experts in simple language talk about the main subjects of the economy and technology.

The fourth lecture of the cycle “Economics of the Future” called “Blockchain: Decentralized Economy” will read the blockchain-enthusiast, one of the founders of Golos, Cyberfund and Satishi Pie projects Marina Guryeva. The expert will talk about the possibilities that distributed registers open for the execution of contracts, investments, crowdfunding and shering transactions, and will also appreciate the prospects of Russia in the upcoming world of robots and artificial intelligence.

The lecture will take place on Tuesday, February 6 at 19:00 in the mansion on Volkhonka (Bolshaya Znamensky Lane, house 2, building 3).

The cycle of public lectures of the Gaidar Foundation is devoted to the main trends in the economy of the future: cryptocurrencies, blockchain, artificial intelligence and great data. The main question on which the speakers are trying to answer is how to distinguish structural technological transformations of the economy from short -term market and marketing “bubbles”.
