On February 6, activist of the Revolutionary Workers' Party of Dmitry Radchinsky was summoned to a conversation with the Director of the Volkhov Polytechnic College after a rally dedicated to the centenary of the decree on the separation of the church from the state and the school from the church. This was announced by the OVD-Info by the PRP participant Dmitry Kovalev.
On February 4, a coordinated action was held in St. Petersburg, “dedicated to the problems of the merger of the church with the state” - “Anticlericism 2018”. According to Kovalev, at the event "the problem of the transfer of the St. Isaac's Cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church was raised."
Two days later, Dmitry Radchinsky, a minor participant in the rally, during classes in a technical school called “to the carpet” to the director. The RRP activist was asked why he went to the rally, why he was against the transfer of the St. Isaac's Cathedral and why he "took that the Russian Orthodox Church is in the school of propaganda." In addition, Drochinsky was asked why he was holding an extremist poster.
A quote from the Bible was written on the activist’s poster.
Wealth on the day of anger will not help (parable 11: 4).
“After my explanations, words and threats typical of such situations followed: about the fact that the State Department pays me, that this will affect me personally and at the technical school itself, that the leadership of the technical school is responsible for my actions even on Sunday, and I have no right to rally because I am 17 years old. They also mentioned a letter from the Ministry of Education demanding an audit, ”Dechinsky said.
After the conversation, they tried to force him to write an explanatory in the name of the director.
