Tuva police detained the head of the headquarters Sobchak and orphans demanding housing

In Tuva, the story of orphans who moved to a family agency for lack of housing continued. On the evening of February 6, after unsuccessful attempts to expel them from the administrative building, the officials called the police. The protesters were detained.

Saisuu Baykara, an activist in the orphan movement, told Taiga.info that law enforcement officers arrived at the building at about 6 pm.

Negotiations with officials who made contact, but offered the activists to rent housing at their own expense, ended in nothing.

Then the police began to forcibly take people out and take them to the city department. Later, Oyumaa Dongak, who heads Sobchak's headquarters in Tuva, was also detained near the police. Dongak herself told Taiga.info that she was being interrogated and that they wanted to detain her for 48 hours.
