In Tyumen, the magistrate of the Central District arrested the volunteer of the local headquarters of the strike of Alexei Navalny Peter Kharitonov for seven days. This was reported in the headquarters group on the VKontakte social network.
Kharitonov was found guilty under Art. 20.1 Code of Administrative Offenses (petty hooliganism) due to the use of obscene vocabulary at a rally on January 28. He held in his hands a poster with the slogan “Return the elections ...”, ending with a rhyme to the word “elections”. However, according to the defense, Kharitonov did not thus express disrespect for society or to the rally participants.
Kharitonov had already spent a day in the police department before the court, so he will be released on February 13.
On January 28, 350 people were detained on promotions in the framework of the “voter strikes” in different cities.
