Today, the founder of the Dodo Pizza chain, Fyodor Ovchinnikov, was summoned for re-interrogation in a drug dealing case. The Ministry of Internal Affairs officially commented on the situation for the first time - the police found 750 grams of synthetic drugs in several pizzerias of the chain.

In one of the cafes of the Dodo Pizza chain, 550 grams of drugs were found in November 2017, and another 200 grams in January, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement. In both cases, the pizzeria employees found the drugs and contacted the police.
After that, criminal cases were initiated under article 228.1 (illegal distribution of drugs). Yesterday, the founder of Russia's largest pizzeria chain wrote on his Facebook that he was a witness in these cases and was rudely summoned for interrogation. Today he was again called to testify.
According to Ovchinnikov, a statement about the distribution of drugs to the FSB was written by E.V. Pronina, unknown to him. But, as The Bell found out , a person with the same surname and initials - Ekaterina Viktorovna Pronina - is a co-founder of the Dodo Pizza franchisee in Lyubertsy.
Later, Pronina told VC that she had nothing to do with the statement, and her signature was forged. Ovchinnikov also does not consider her involved in the charges.
