FBK appealed to the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor General's Office with a demand to check the investigation into Deripaska and Prikhodko
The Anti-Corruption Foundation sent statements to the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor General's Office demanding that they verify information from the investigation about businessman Oleg Deripaska and Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Prikhodko. The Vedomosti newspaper reports this.
According to FBK, during a trip on the Deripaska family’s yacht, Sergei Prikhodko was illegally provided with “property services,” which constitutes a bribe.
On Monday, a similar written statement will be sent to the head of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Directorate, Andrei Chobotov, FBK told Vedomosti.
- On February 8, FBK founder Alexey Navalny published an investigation that businessman Oleg Deripaska was vacationing on a yacht in Norway with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Prikhodko and an alleged employee of the “escort industry” Nastya Rybka. According to Navalny, this trip can be considered a bribe to the Deputy Prime Minister.
- The investigation was based, in particular, on photographs and videos from Nastya Rybka’s Instagram and on her book “Diary of Seducing a Billionaire, or a Clone for an Oligarch.”
- The Russian government and the Kremlin refused to comment on the FBK investigation. Oleg Deripaska said that he is ready to defend himself in court against “false information flows.”
