The President of Ukraine signed a decree on countering Russia’s “information aggression”

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed a decree on taking additional measures to counter Russian “information aggression”, and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Oleksandra Turchynova will control its implementation, according to the website of the head of state .

Thus, the decree approves the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of January 26, 2018 "On additional measures to counter the information aggression of the Russian Federation."

Earlier, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree imposing new sanctions against Russia. According to the document, access to the social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki will be blocked in Ukraine. Moreover, access to all Yandex services will be closed for a period of three years.

In addition, sanctions have been imposed against Russian media leaders, Channel One CEO Konstantin Ernst, TASS CEO Sergei Mikhailov, RT (Russia Today) editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan and others.
