Airbus has announced that a third of the 133 most advanced Pratt & Whitney-powered A320neos are out of service. In Russia, S7 has four such aircraft.

There are 133 Pratt & Whitney-powered A320neo aircraft in the fleets of 18 companies around the world - the rest fly on engines from the French manufacturer CFM.
Most of the aircraft of this series are now in the fleet of the Indian low-cost airline IndiGo, 17 of them have a faulty engine. The airline said that three times the engine failed in flight, and three more times the commanders canceled the takeoff due to malfunctions. According to IndiGo, deliveries of the A320neo with faulty engines have already stopped.
Airbus has given carriers the serial numbers of the failed engines. The CEO of IndiGo has already announced that the engines will have to be changed.
Of the largest Russian airlines, has only S7 Airbus A320neo. All four aircraft are equipped with Pratt & Whitney engines and operate international and domestic flights from Novosibirsk and Moscow. “We received clarifications from Airbus, there are no restrictions on the use of our aircraft specifically,” Anna Bazhina, spokeswoman for S7 Group, told The Bell.
