Grudinin expects 60% in Siberia

Russian presidential candidate from the Communist Party Pavel Grudinin arrived in Novosibirsk. He counts on 60% of the votes of the inhabitants of the Trans-Urals.

“According to my preliminary sociology, 60% are for us, 40% are for everyone else,” Grudinin told reporters on February 13.

At the same time, the candidate evaded the direct question of how many votes he plans to receive in the Novosibirsk region and throughout Siberia.

Grudinin in Novosibirsk is accompanied by Vice Speaker of the City Council Renat Suleimanov, press secretary of party leader Gennady Zyuganov Alexander Yushchenko and State Duma deputy Dmitry Novikov. The latter recalled that the Communist Party hopes for a second round.

It should be noted that the press conference began with Yushchenko's words: "If you have questions about accounts abroad, billions and castles, ask them first, we will quickly answer them and move on to the agenda."

The Russian presidential elections will be held on March 18. The CEC registered eight people. The ballot will include LDPR head Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Communist Party nominee, head of the Lenin state farm Pavel Grudinin, self-nominated incumbent President Vladimir Putin, business ombudsman Boris Titov, Yabloko co-founder Grigory Yavlinsky, leader of the Russian People's Union Sergei Baburin, head of the party "Communists of Russia" Maxim Suraikin and TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak ("Civil Initiative").
