On February 10, 2018, Russian Science Day was celebrated in more than 60 cities of Russia and the world at the sites of the “Open Laboratory” scientific and educational event. Moreover, they noted not only the “non-childish questions” of the “Lab” itself, but also a varied additional program that was unique at all sites. Universities and institutes organized tours of laboratories, showed experiments and demonstrations. Schools and other venues screened the best world-class popular science films from the FUNK festival.
The Museum of Cosmonautics hosted a discussion of the book “The Great Space Voyage” by the famous astrophysicist and popularizer Neil deGrasse Tyson.
