Publisher and TV presenter Alexander Shatalov has died

In Moscow, publisher, poet and TV presenter Alexander Shatalov died at the age of 60. This was reported by Eduard Limonov, whose books were published by the Glagol publishing house founded by Shatalov.

• Alexander Shatalov in 1990 was one of the founders of the Glagol publishing house, which was, as reported on its website, “the first domestic private publishing house.” The first book he published, as Shatalov himself said , was Eduard Limonov’s novel “It’s Me, Eddie.” He also hosted a television program about literature, “Graphomaniac,” for many years.
