Channel One decided to repeat the documentary series of Oliver Stone with a simple but sonorous name “Putin”. Why not repeat? The cinema is beautiful, expensive (the rights to it cost the channel $ 3.5 million), rating. That is, in theory, Oliver Stone would have to shoot seven more of the same long -playing series, but, alas, he no longer had time for shooting and installing such works, as well as the Channel One - the airtime for showing all of them in a pre -election period.

But here, evenly on the day of all lovers, when the third series of the film was already on the way, the CEC woke up, publishing a decree “On the broadcast of the material on the television channel of Channel One JSC.

Only this is the bad luck: on Wednesday, on February 14, when the CEC resolution was released, it was not possible to change the program of programs, because due to the difference in time zones, spectators of the Far East and Siberia already watched the third series of the film, and to deprive the inhabitants of the European part of the country would be unfair. But on Thursday, the CEC wish will necessarily be fulfilled - the fourth series Channel One will postpone until better times, or, as stated in the CEC resolution, "until the end of the presidential election on March 18."

So peacefully justice was restored, and democracy on one individual television channel triumphed.
