Former wife of the press secretary of President Dmitry Peskov Ekaterina Solocinskaya resigned from the post of head of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Paris. She posted a statement about this on her Instagram.
Solocinskaya asked the head of Rossotrudnichestvo to Eleanor Mitrofanov to dismiss her from February 28 "at her own free will."
According to the BBC, citing a source in diplomatic circles, the reason for the departure of Solocinskaya was the claims of Russian inspection bodies to her-the ex-wife of the press secretary Vladimir Putin is related to two commercial companies. One of the companies of Solocinskaya - the Mincom jewelry trade company - is located in Russian jurisdiction, the other - Sirius - is registered in Paris. The second legal entity is recorded by her apartment. In the "Minkom" Solocinskaya owns 30 percent. Three quarters of the French company belongs to Solotsinskaya, a quarter - of them with the sand daughter Elizabeth. According to the general director of the Minkoma, Ekaterina Mosyagina, on Monday, the ex -wife of Peskov filed an application for the exit from the possession of her share of the company. Solocinskaya also owns 50 percent of the Russian company Kale, which controls the beauty salons.
The decision on the dismissal of Solocinskaya personally made Mitrofanova. They tried to dismiss the ex -wife of Peskov with the wording "due to the loss of trust." However, Solocinskaya prevented this - in particular, sent Mitrofanova’s appeal, in which she wrote that she had personal agreements to promote Russian culture abroad with the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov. Solocinskaya also indicated what comes "from a family of diplomats of the highest level", and could also count on the support of his girlfriend, "one of the presidential candidates."
Solotsinskaya headed the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Paris May 2017. According to the law, Russian civil servants are prohibited at the same time to engage in commercial activities.
In December 2017, the founder of the Corruption Fund Alexei Navalny published an investigation about the Paris apartment of a Solocinian value of 1.77 million euros . An apartment with an area of 180 meters located on Avenue Viktor Hugo was purchased in September 2016. It follows from the real estate agreement that the former family Peskov carried out the purchase with their own money, but according to declared income, she does not have such funds. The FBC concluded that the money for Parisian real estate was received corruption.
Peskov himself said that he did not buy an apartment to his ex -wife . He called the FBK investigation "slander."
