The first five Moscow families received the keys to new apartments under the renovation program

The first Muscovites received the keys to new apartments as part of the renovation program. Five families became them, TASS was informed in the Department of City Property of Moscow.

Residents of houses No. 3 and 5 on Konstantin Fedin Street received the keys to a house adapted to the standards of the program at 62B 5th Parkovaya Street (East of Moscow).

They will be able to move into housing tomorrow, either on their own or by first writing an application at the Information Center for free assistance for moving.

In total, 119 families out of 158 families from houses located on Fedina Street agreed to move.

Recall that in early 2017, the Moscow authorities announced a renovation program involving the demolition of several thousand residential buildings in the city, primarily five-story ones. The final list included 5,144 houses. About a million people live in them. The authorities promised that Muscovites would receive new apartments with the same number of rooms they had before.
