Student Artyom Yegorov was detained near the Moscow State University building, who was distributing leaflets with information about the protest against the construction of a fan zone for the 2018 World Cup on the territory of the university. This was reported to OVD-Info by his girlfriend Maria Shchekochikhina.
According to her, Yegorov did not have time to hand out leaflets when he was detained and taken away somewhere. Shchekochikhina suggests that he was taken to the police department, which is located in the main building of Moscow State University.
What the student is charged with is unknown.
UPD. Yegorov was released from the police department. According to Shchekochikhina, at first he was told that he was detained because of the inscription about the protest against the fan zone on the sleeve. Then the police said they wanted to check Yegorov's documents. The report on the student was not drawn up.
