The search operation at the An-148 crash site has been completed

In the Moscow region, the search part of the operation at the crash site of the An-148 aircraft was completed, as a result of which 71 people died. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the representative of the operational headquarters at the scene of the emergency.

“The operation at the crash site has been completed, the units are being withdrawn to their permanent deployment points,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to him, almost 5,000 aircraft wreckage has been found in the An-148 crash area since the start of work. They were delivered to the Gromov Research Institute for study.

The territory where the work was carried out was transferred by acts to the local authorities.

Recall that on February 11, the Saratov Airlines An-148 plane, flying from Domodedovo to Orsk, crashed in the Ramensky district of the Moscow region near the village of Stepanovskoye. There were 65 passengers and six crew members on board, all of whom died.

The Commission of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) studied the parametric recorder ("black box") from the crashed aircraft. According to the first conclusions, the accident could have occurred due to incorrect airspeed data on the aircraft's displays, which could have been caused by icing on the air pressure receivers.
