The conclusion suggested by itself: the subway trains would go again when the Golden Eagle and other security forces will be stripped by Maidan.

The SBU ordered all state institutions of the central areas - Pechersky and Shevchenkovsky: to urgently finish work and go home. That day, ice was terrible. People fell, climbed and again fled towards the Maidan: “Do you want to disassemble? It won't work! " In the clashes with the Berkut, three activists have already been killed. Protesters occupied the house of officers, opened an impromptu first -aid post there. They carried the wounded, bandaged, doctors tried to operate on the spot on the spot. At about 20.00, the security forces warned: let women and children leave the Maidan - the "anti -terrorist operation" began. The armored personnel carrier went to ram the barricade.

And the metro then still resumed the work. A group of politicians and activists “pressed” on Vladimir Makeenko, who acted as the head of the Kyiv City City Administration. A day later, Makeenko made an application for leaving the Party of Regions and demanded that the deputies become a living shield between security forces and protesters to stop bloodshed ...

Metro: Political stop?

On February 18, 2018, at noon, as usual, in the square opposite the Red Corps of Kyiv University named after Shevchenko, supporters of the Rukh of the New Forces gathered for a march. After 10.00, it turned out that Kyiv was closed to the exit and at the entrance seven central metro stations. The subway trains flew them without stopping. The press service of the subway told me that the measure was forced, for technical reasons, and did not answer the question when the “technical reasons” will resolve and what they are.

Two days before the rally, the metro leadership announced other causes of possible pauses in motion. On the evening of February 18, the Olympic stadium is played by Dynamo (Kyiv) and Olympic (Donetsk). In 2014, with the beginning of the armed conflict in the Donbass, the team moved to Kyiv, to the Bannikov stadium, dismissing its Academy in Donetsk. It was planned that after the match the first to be sent heated fans, for the rest of the passengers, the entrance to the “Palace of Sports”, “Olympic” and “Leo Tolstoy” would be temporarily closed.

The metro earned at 13.30. It turned out that after anonymous calls about the threat of the station were checked for explosive objects. Neither social networks nor supporters of Saakashvili believed this explanation.

The microdistrict life was laid on its turn, the news learned from the TV, the Internet, and even from smoked, smelling smoke, deadly tired fellow citizens in urban transport. On February 18, 2014, a three -day, most tragic period in the history of the Maidan began. The security forces “squeezed” the independence protesters to the perimeter, a firearm began to be used in the confrontation, the score of dead, wounded, beaten rapidly grew ...

On February 18, 2018, those who did not manage to go to the traditional gathering place at the Shevchenko monument in time descended from the Arsenalnaya metro station. At the underground crossing there were several dozen “titles”, they are still easily determined by Kiev residents - they watched, smoked. The center of Kyiv was intensely patrolled by the police and the National Guard.

The tent town of Saakashvili's supporters under the Rada was almost empty, only the guards were on duty, everyone moved to the columns. The pass through the town softened. New posters were hung here, among which this one caught my eye, with calls: “Patriot at the front, hit the Moscow lice! Patriot in the rear, crush Ukrainian nits! " The authors creatively developed the famous statement of Simon Petliura: "We are not afraid of Moscow lice, Ukrainian nits are terrible." The topic promised to continue in practice radicals from the OUN ( the organization’s activities are prohibited in Russia - ed. ), Announcing their performance at the walls of Rossotrudnichestvo at 15.00.

There is no place on the Maidan

People in the square at the Shevchenko monument are warned: the veche will not be held on the Maidan, but on Mikhailovskaya Square, we are moving there! In the middle of the Maidan and a large -scale installation with portraits of the dead heroes is placed on the part of Khreshchatyk. The current rallies are not there.

Part of the “Ruh of New Forces” posters traditionally in English, like “Poroshenko is not my pressident”. On others, the bloodied faces of the heroes - the Maidanovites are drawn: "Poroshenko - the new Yanukovych."

The aftertaste of political speculation is felt distinctly - the dead are attracted to the ranks of the opposition.

They ask not to raise party flags, only state, Ukrainian, including a huge panel, which is carried without a pole, holding the edges. By the time the column was formed, the Donbass battalion, headed by the ex-company, people's deputy Semen Semenchenko, approached the Donbass battalion. They were welcomed with applause.

“We will show Poroshenko that this is not the march of Mikhail Saakashvili, but our march! We will throw Poroshenko into the trash of history! " -He promises the ally of Mikhail, the ex-deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine David Sakvarelidze. Along with Poroshenko, the resignation of both Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko, who is called the “bloody”, and the Minister of the Interior Avakov, are demanded. Let me remind you: at the last rally, a few days before expulsion from the country, Saakashvili voiced the ultimatum to President Poroshenko: to resign until February 18.

The action is quite numerous, 10 thousand offhand. People chant "Kyiv, get up!" The organizers say that rallies like Kyiv are now held in many regional centers of Ukraine - with the same agenda. In Chernivtsi, for example, those who were dissatisfied with the authorities burned the scarecrow of Poroshenko. They gathered for rallies both in Kharkov and in Lviv. On Mikhailovskaya, the scene is already ready, on the back of which one word blackens - “impeachment”.

The People’s Deputy, General of Justice, Viktor Chumak, reads the general statement of political forces - “Trush of New Forces”, “Fatherland”, “Self -help”, etc., in essence, the text is not addressed to the “internal consumer”, but to the international community, European leaders and the United States: “Poroshenko has become an arbitrariness of the law of law.”

Suddenly, a rumor flies through the crowd: the security forces, taking advantage of the temporary absence of Saakashvili supporters on the place of the inhabitants of the tent town of Saakashvili, began to “clean up” the territory. About a thousand of the hottest activists quickly return to Grushevsky. Several guys with faces closed with masks rise to the plank “Captain's Bridge” - he was made near the building of the parliamentary official delegations - and evaluate the situation. The enhanced cordons of the National Guard surrounded the parliament building around the perimeter. So far, the sides of mutual aggression do not show. However, 20 shields, which, as a trophy, took the protesters from the fighters back in October, the security forces returned back. From time to time, snowballs and obscene reproaches fly to the National Guard: “Who, Trump-Ta-Ra-Ra, defend?! »The Maidan also abounded in such scenes in 2014 - until the terrible February 18 ...

But now, opposite the National Guard, there are recent front -line soldiers of the Donbass battalion - a wall on the wall.

On Mikhailovskaya, meanwhile, they listen to Saakashvili. As Sakvarelidze promised, Mikhail was taken to a loud telephone connection, he warns: “The Ukrainian people can’t stop anything!”

The veche accepts the resolution: the presidential early elections, after them - the transitional parliament and the anti -crisis government. They announce the need to create "civil resistance committees" in each house.

On the eve, on Saturday, Rossotrudnichestvo was stormed in this way the radical organization “S-14”. Now law enforcement officers are evaluating the material damage caused by the premises. There were no people in offices.
