"Apple" is propagated by division

Once St. Petersburg was called the "apple" capital. In 1998, the majority of Yabloko almost received the majority in the city parliament, its representatives worked in the team of Governor Vladimir Yakovlev, and the main of them-the many years (since 2004) FAS Igor Artemyev, was the first vice-governor and headed the finance committee. The Yabloko for a long time remained the leading opposition force in the city. With the exception of one convocation, it had and still has its own faction in the city parliament. However, the entire history of the Petersburg “Yabloko” was split until completely split.

From the very beginning, the party in the St. Petersburg branch of the party had two factions - the young Yablok, who was headed by Artemyev, and less young, led by the Democrat of the first wave, university teacher and deputy Mikhail Amosov. In 2004, having lost the Duma elections, Artemyev headed the FAS and went to Moscow, leaving Maxim Reznik instead. In the intra -party struggle with the Reznik, Amosov relied on Yavlinsky and his comrade, the tireless apple journalist Boris Vishnevsky. Reznik quickly won glasses as a bright speaker and leader of street protest. In 2011, Yabloko achieved impressive success in the elections to the city parliament - 12.5%, which gave parties 6 seats. They shared equally between the "Amosovsky" and "Reznikovsky", while in the "Amosov" part there was Yavlinsky himself, who headed the list of the party in the elections and did not abandon the mandate after the victory. Immediately after the Reznik elections, the elections were accused of "conspiracy with falsifiers".

The scandal lasted almost a year and was bright. At the end of 2012, Reznik and all his friends were expelled from the party. The Yabloko faction split exactly in half. And after the autumn elections of 2016, Yabloko had only two places in Zaks. They were occupied by Mikhail Amosov and Boris Vishnevsky. But it was not possible to preserve the monolist of the ranks: at the beginning of the next year, Amosov was removed from the post of head of the St. Petersburg branch of the party. Since the conspirators could not choose their chairman (Amosov controlled most of the delegates of the party conference), the entire leadership of the St. Petersburg branch of the party was dissolved by decision of Moscow. And he is still in such a status.
