© Alisa Kern / Tsti "Factory"From March 1 to March 18, in the center of creative industries "Factory" in Moscow, a personal exhibition of the artist Alice Kern "Normalization Operation" will be held.
The “normalization operation” project is the result of two years of study of the phenomena of “normalization”. This term indicates the devices and processes responsible for maintaining order in chaotic systems and the resistance of entropy.
Visitors to the exhibition (curator - Stanislav Shurip) will gain access to the closed area of the surgical unit, where normalization operations are carried out. The operating room is characterized by its own artifical environment. For the proper operation of the operating room in the room, the air temperature is controlled, an increased pressure level is maintained, and a special ventilation system is also operated, which is used to prevent foreign bodies from entering the operated place by air.
The architecture of the operating unit corresponds to the needs of the efficient operation of the entire system. It will be possible to familiarize yourself with all the stages of the functioning of the block, as well as feel some of the effects of the operating room, for example, a sudden immersion in anesthetic sleep.
