MSU student Artem Yegorov was detained by the police in the cafeteria of the university when he was collecting signatures against the transfer of the fan zone from Sparrow Hills to a site on the territory of MSU. This was reported to OVD-Info by an eyewitness to the detention.
“The guards came first. They threatened to call the police or told him to go with them. Then they took a picture of his student,” she said.
Then the police came and detained the student. Presumably, he was taken to the police department of Moscow State University "to check documents."
In February, the police already detained Yegorov at the Moscow State University building when he handed out leaflets with information about the protest against the construction of a fan zone for the 2018 World Cup on the territory of the university.
Then he did not even have time to hand out leaflets. He was arrested and taken to the police station. From there, the student was released without a protocol.
