Kuzbass: City Hall canceled her own transfer of place for rally

Kuzbass authorities canceled their own ban on rallies in the central park of Kemerovo, which was introduced on the eve of the November campaign of the politician Alexei Navalny. Officials transferred the site for meetings from the remote territory of the Kirovsky district back to the Square "Orbit" right during the trial.

A lawsuit in court with a request to cancel the ban on officials was filed by activist Arthur Stash. He called the document illegal, since the remote platform turned out to be less than 100 meters from the police department and the building of the kindergarten, and the closest stop of public transport was a kilometer from the place proposed by the authorities.

The collegium of the Kuzbass administration at first did not agree with the requirements of the activist, announcing that the decision was "quite justified." The court of the Kemerovo region held several meetings on the claim, but in mid -February, the authorities themselves filed a petition for the termination of production - officials recognized their own resolution. The regional governor Aman Tuleyev signed the decision about this on February 14, that is, right during the trial.

Kemerovo activist Stash decided to appeal another site allowed by the authorities of the region for mass events of more than 100 people. The last protest in the region occurred on Saturday in the Novokuznetsk district, where the police detained several participants in the inconsistent rally.
