
In Omsk, two activists of the Open Alliance of Observers Movement on February 19 held a picket at the building of the regional election commission. They demanded to clear the lists of voters from "dead souls", as well as exclude backbone.

The head of the regional election commission Alexei Nesterenko came to the picket participants. “The goal was set on this campaign-to clarify the lists of voters. For this, a private working group was created under the Governor of the Omsk Region. The problem that you raised is relevant. The elections of the President of Russia were scheduled for March 18. In total, there will be eight candidates for the post of head of state in the ballot. On February 6, the CEC registered Vladimir Putin as a candidate.
