FBK director was arrested for 10 days
The Simonovsky District Court of Moscow considered the administrative case of the director of the Anti-Corruption Foundation Roman Rubanov. The court found him guilty under Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the rules for organizing mass events) because of a retweet with a call to participate in a rally in support of the "voters' strike" on January 28, Mediazona reports . According to the court decision, Rubanov will spend 10 days under arrest.
Rubanov was detained at the airport and taken to the police station, where a protocol was drawn up against him under Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The protocol states that at 3:46 a.m. on February 25, Rubanov posted a tweet from Alexei Navalny calling for an “unauthorized event,” although Navalny’s tweet itself was written later, Mediazona notes.
