The police brought Navalny a demand to appear to draw up a report

On February 21, the police came to Aleksey Navalny's office and brought a paper with a demand to appear to draw up a protocol. The politician himself announced this on his Twitter.

Navalny said he had no plans to go. “They themselves said that if you don’t come, we don’t care,” he says in a video he posted.

The protocol is connected with the action "Strike of voters" on January 28, at which Navalny was detained and documents were drawn up under part 8 of article 20.2 - a repeated violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picketing. The article provides for an administrative arrest of up to 30 days.

Earlier, in his speeches, the politician linked the delay in the consideration of his case with the desire of the authorities to spend Election Day in a special detention center.
