
In the Lena River, at the place where the fuel truck sank in January, the concentration of oil products exceeded the permissible norms by 16–28 times. This was reported by TASS with reference to the specialists of Rosprirodnadzor.
Traces of pollution were found on an area of 3.8 thousand square meters, quoted by the agency of specialists of the department. The owner of the sunken fuel truck, according to Rosprirodnadzor, caused material damage to the reservoir in the amount of 86 thousand rubles.

On January 10, a tanning station and a car crane went under the ice on the Lena River. The car crane damaged the tank and oil products resulted in the river, an oil spot appeared on the surface of the river. Cars tried to cross the river at the site of an unauthorized crossing. On January 15, rescuers collected more than 7 tons of oil products from the river.
When trying to raise a heavy truck from Lena, a bulldozer failed in the same place. The rescuers of the Ministry of Emergencies managed to get out of the auto -keran, a fuel truck and a bulldozer only on January 26. At the scene, 25 cubic meters of contaminated ice and snow were collected.
