Sakhalin: poor residents complain about poor quality products

Families of the poor from Tymovsky and Nevelsky districts of Sakhalin complained about a local entrepreneur who purchased cheap analogues for them instead of quality products. As part of targeted food assistance from the field of the family, they received minced meat from bull -headed heads instead of stewed beef of the highest grade, and instead of condensed milk - condensed milk, they also brought dirty millet and boiled pasta.

In the Sakhalin store "Crystal", which received a state contract for the purchase of products for low -income families of the Tymovsky district, the inspection of the Ministry of Social Protection of the region confirmed violations. The entrepreneur explained the “wrong” purchases by the fact that the Government of the Sakhalin Region allegedly does not regulate the quality of products for targeted extension. Nevertheless, the store agreed to replace canned food, but by that time the Sakhalin people had already eaten the products that they complained about, the ASTV.ru portal writes.

Similar complaints at the beginning of the year were residents of the Katanga district of the Angara region. Due to the shortage of products during the period of the “ice blockade”, local entrepreneurs sold, according to the northerners, the dull goods, part with the expired shelf life.

In early February, a resident of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk opened a criminal case of fraud in the amount of more than 50 million rubles in the supply of food to the military units of the Sakhalin Region. According to the investigation, the suspect, which supplied military products from 2015 to 2016, issued several fictitious contracts, according to which his company allegedly put food for 114 million rubles. In fact, supplies to soldiers were half as much.
