A participant in a protest against compaction development in Moscow was arrested for seven days for disobeying the police.

Sizikov was found guilty of disobedience to police officers (Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code). According to Timoshkina, during the meeting, police said that they saw Sizikov pushing aside law enforcement officers and waving his arms. None of the police reported that Sizikov used violence against him specifically.

According to Timoshkina, Sizikov simply stood by the paddy wagon and asked the police why they were detaining the protesters.

On January 18, in Moscow, near a house on Kravchenko Street, 16 local residents took part in a rally against the compaction development of the city and the installation of a road sign prohibiting parking. National Guard officers arrived at the scene and detained five people: Nikolai Sizikov, Andrei Orel, Ivan Klimov, Sergei Ilyin and Gleb Nazarov. They were all taken to the Lomonosovsky police station.

In the department, Klimov’s blood pressure dropped, which is why they called an ambulance. He was released from the hospital on an obligation to appear. The remaining detainees received reports of disobedience to police officers and were released.
