"Rusal" confirmed the resignation of Deripaska

A billionaire Oleg Deripaska leaves the post of president of Rusal. This is stated in the company's message.

He will remain in the Council of Directors, the place of Deripaska on the post of president of the company will be occupied by his current general director Vladislav Solovyov. The general director of Rusala will become Alexander Buriko - as Bloomberg wrote, a woman for the first time in Russian history will take the post of CEO in such a large corporation

In EN+ they later confirmed that Deripaska would leave the president. His place will be taken by the general director Maxim Sokov.

Kommersant previously announced the resignation of Deripaska from the posts of the President of Rusala and En+ Group.

The sources of the newspaper at Rusal said that his departure is not related to the scandal around the Nastya fish or its inclusion in the Kremlin List. According to them, he intends to engage in the development of other assets, in particular the GAZ group.

Other interlocutors of Kommersant, however, suggested that his resignation was associated with the Kremlin report. Deripaska, in their opinion, did not want to attract attention to companies.
