A resident of Spain named Marisol tweeted a selfie in the mirror on February 23. But something went wrong: the girl inadvertently created an optical illusion.

Twitter cropped photos of Marisol, and users began to think that the girl had unnaturally thin legs. “I thought the white stripe was the distance between your legs,” wrote one of Marisol’s followers.

Marisol's tweet went viral; At the time of writing, almost 50 thousand users liked it. Other users began to send collages to the girl, suggesting how her legs might still look.
