Earlier it became known that the company "Russian Railways" intends to offer the government to cancel the general list of professions that are forbidden to accept women. The departmental newspaper "Guuck" wrote on Monday that Russian Railways offers to give companies the opportunity to accept internal lists themselves in agreement with trade unions. The criteria for including a profession in the list should be an assessment of working conditions, professional risks and harm to health.

“The ban on the work of women with us was justified by the harmful factors related to vibration, because the freight and passenger locomotives were not too comfortable,” said Irina Kostenets, adviser to the Director General of Russian Railways.
