Nasri is disqualified for six months for violation of anti -doping rules

The control and ethical disciplinary committee of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) disqualified the former football player of the French national team Samir Nasri for six months for violating anti-doping rules.

According to the UEFA press service , the 30-year-old athlete was found guilty of using the forbidden therapy method. The decision was made on February 22 and may be appealed.

The Frenchman, in the 2016/2017 season, playing for the Spanish "Seville", in the vitamin center of Los Angeles made a blood transfusion , which is prohibited by anti-doping rules.

AEPSAD recommended that the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) open a case against Nasri for the use of a method with a clinic of a method that provides for injection of drugs in a volume of 100 milliliters for six hours. This is twice the norms established by the World Anti -Doping Agency (WADA).

In January 2017, Nasri appealed to UEFA, but the football player was denied the issuance of a therapeutic exclusion (TUE) to retroactively transfusion, which would allow him to avoid punishment.

Subsequently, the Sports Arbitration Court (CAS) rejected Nasri's appeal, which is now the player of the Turkish Antalispora, after which the UEFA disciplinary instance resumed the investigation in this case.
