Reuters showed the Brazilian passport of the DPRK leader

Reuters received photocopies of the passports of the DPRK leader Kim Jong -un and his father, last head of state Kim Jong Ira. The source of the agency in Brazil said that the documents are genuine.

The person recognition system confirmed that in the photographs in the passports the leaders of North Korea, the interlocutor of Reuters said.

Four Reuters interlocutors said these passports were used to apply for visas in two European states. They could be used to travel to Brazil, Japan and Hong Kong.

According to the press on the passports, they were issued in 1996 at the Brazilian Embassy in Prague. Kim Jong -un passport was issued in the name of Joseph Pvag, who was born on February 1, 1983. As Reuters notes, at that time he was 12-14 years old (the exact year of birth is unknown).

The passport of Kim Jong Ira was issued in the name of Izhon Choy, who was born on April 4, 1940 (in fact he was born in 1941). In both passports in the clan "place of birth" is indicated by San Paulo, Brazil.

In 2011, the Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun wrote that Kim Jong -un visited Tokyo on Brazilian passport in childhood, reminds the agency.
