The deputy chief editor of RTVI, Ekaterina Kotrikadze, on the air of the television channel spoke about the harassment of the deputy from the LDPR Leonid Slutsky. She became the first woman to declared this not anonymously.

This case occurred in 2011, when Kutrikadze worked on the Georgian TV channel. She wanted to interview Slutsky and he invited her to his office to discuss how the conversation would take place.

After her appearance, he locked the door, told Kotrikadze. “Then he began to touch me, tried to kiss ... I escaped and ran away,” the journalist said.

She did not talk about it to avoid trouble.

“This is never talked about aloud, because we understand that there is no special sense in this - you only risk bringing insults and accusations of lies,” she said, calling on other journalists who were undergoing harassment and reveal her names.

Three employees of the media previously anonymously told Rain about the harassment of Leonid Slutsky. One of them stated that she did not talk about it, fearing that she would be banned from working in the State Duma. According to another journalist, Slutsky took her by the crotch at the moment when she went to his office to ask a question.

The deputy rejected all the charges. The leader of the LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky first promised to verify this information, but later he said that he would not “follow you, throw an election campaign, run and spy who was molesting to whom.”

According to Republic, the behavior of the deputy was already reported to the State Duma leadership. The leadership of one of the publications turned to the past speaker Sergei Naryshkin with a complaint about the behavior of the deputy.

On February 26, journalists from the parliamentary pool met with the deputy head of the State Duma apparatus Vadim Marshalko and asked him to discuss the behavior of the deputy.
