The court found him guilty under Part 5 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the rules for holding a picket) for covering his face with a scarf. “The guy covered his face with a scarf, not so damn that they couldn’t identify him, but because it’s cold, it’s the Urals and it’s still winter! And he took off his scarf, introduced himself, allowed himself to be identified, ”the defender writes.
The poster with a portrait of Nemtsov seized from the activist was returned by the court. According to Fedotova, the meeting was held with violations: representatives of the Ministry of Public Security and the police were confused in the testimony, the judge, after a 10-minute break, read out the operative part of the decision on the case, without giving the word to either the accused or the lawyer.
