
Judge of the Smolninsky District Court of St. Petersburg, Ekaterina Mezentseva, arrested for 25 days the coordinator of the city headquarters of Alexei Navalny Denis Mikhailov for participating in the Story of Voters on January 28, the Navalny team of St. Petersburg reported .
The activist was declared guilty under part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated violation of the procedure for holding public actions).
On Friday, Mikhailov finished serving a 30-day administrative arrest on charges of organizing the action on January 28. At the exit from the special-reception, he was detained by the police and took him to the 76th police department. There, a new administrative protocol was drawn up for it - this time for participation in the same action.
The first administrative arrest on charges of organizing a rally to Mikhailov on January 31 appointed the Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg. On this day, he was detained at the local headquarters of Navalny, taken to the police and drew up two administrative protocols. The court announced the activist guilty of part 8 of Article 20.2 and Article 5.12 (illegal distribution of campaign materials) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
On January 28, Mikhailov was also detained at the action itself, but then he was released from the police without a protocol.
The activist appeared in the so -called list of the "E" center - a document dated January 28, in which the St. Petersburg GUMVD asked the CPE to provide them with 20 participants in the action on January 28. The day before, another person involved in this list was arrested for 25 days - the St. Petersburg coordinator of Open Russia Andrei Pivovarov .
